Dr. John Jurcisin is Board Certified with The American Board Of Foot & Ankle Surgery (ABFAS), which strives to protect and improve the health and welfare of the public by advancing the art and science of foot and ankle surgery.

Dr. John Jurcisin is board certified in Foot Surgery. Board Qualified in Foot Surgery indicates a podiatrist has passed the ABFAS Part I Certification Examination in Foot Surgery, and has demonstrated capability in the diagnosis of general medical problems, including the diagnosis and surgical management of foot diseases, deformities, and/or trauma, and those structures that affect the foot and ankle.

Dr. John is a Member of the New York State Medical Association. The MSSNY is a non-profit organization committed to representing the medical profession as a whole and advocating health related rights, responsibilities and issues. MSSNY strives to promote and maintain high standards in medical education and in the practice of medicine in an effort to ensure that quality medical care is available to the public.

Dr. John Jurcisin is a Fellow Of The American College Of Foot And Ankle Surgery. ACFAS member physicians are doctors of podiatric medicine who are graduates of accredited U.S. podiatric medical schools. ACFAS members have completed surgical residency programs of up to four years, and all Fellows of the College are certified by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery, the surgical board of foot and ankle surgeons recognized by the Joint Committee on the Recognition of Specialty Boards. Many have additional fellowship training in various aspects of foot, ankle, and lower extremity surgery. All ACFAS members are dedicated to surgical excellence in the treatment of foot, ankle, and lower extremity disorders.
